D.C. Will Pay $1.6M To Resolve Lawsuits Alleging Police Misconduct During 2017 Inauguration Protests
Two lawsuits alleged that D.C. police violated a slew of constitutional rights when conducting mass arrests during Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office of D.C. did not include one defendant’s name in the motion to dismiss, however.
It looks like the public will get a more thorough look at what happened on Inauguration Day between D.C. Police and protesters.
