They say it would create more delays, more noise for neighborhoods, and upset the balance of service at the region’s three airports.
Travel to Dulles will hopefully now be more seamless for passengers and employees. Previously, they would have to take the 5a bus or the Silver Line to Wiehle-Reston and catch a shuttle.

Lots of people need to get rid of their beverages before passing through airport security. Sometimes its coffee, soda or water. Other times its a big bottle of vodka.

The Dulles Rail project is overbudget, WTOP reports. The first phase of the project, scheduled to be completed next year, is going to need more than the nearly $2.8 billion originally laid out.

MWAA To Name Former Postmaster General As New Leader
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is expected to name former Postmaster General John (Jack) Potter as its new leader. Sounds like a good choice — as we all know, along with being a postmaster, Potter was also a general. And the job of a general is to by god get things done. (Feel free to start with that whole Dulles Rail thing, sir.)

Dulles Toll Road Rate Increase Approved
This has been in the works for some time, but now it’s official: the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors unanimously approved a plan today to raise rates on the Dulles Toll Road, WTOP’s Adam Tuss reports.
