Suburban drivers are parking in front of D.C. residents’ houses.

The D.C. Department of Transportation said yesterday that it’ll propose a number of changes to the city’s Residential Parking Permit program within the next five months.

Despite constant complaints about how the city doles out and charges for residential parking permits, any significant changes to the program are at least a year away.
