One of the Occupy D.C. “sleep strikers” we met with earlier this week has gone to bed. The other, now in his fifth day without any rest, says he’s trying to stay awake for a couple more days. Is he crazy? Not yet.

Two members of Occupy D.C. are in the fourth day of a “sleep strike” in protest of the National Park Service’s enforcement on the ban on camping in McPherson Square. They’ve been awake since Monday. A doctor who specializes in sleep disorders says it’s a very bad idea.
