If you don’t have Verizon, it might still be a while before you get full cell phone coverage throughout the Metro system.

Six Red Line Metro Stations To Close Over Weekend
Major track work will take place along a segment of the Red Line this weekend, so if you happen to live near any station from Rhode Island Avenue to Glenmont, you might want to have alternative means of transportation.
Believe it or not, the WMATA Board of Directors was still talking about station names this morning. But after more than two hours of chatter at a lengthy committee session, it appears as if they have finally settled on a few.

Four D.C. Metro Station Names Could Change
Greater Greater Washington writes that the D.C. Department of Transportation has asked Metro to change the names of four Metro stations within city limits.
It appears as if the National Park Service has backtracked on previous statements that the installation of a Capital Bikeshare station located on the National Mall would “destroy the nature” of America’s backyard.
