Norton Speaks Out Against D.C. Abortion Bill
A bill that could prohibit abortions in D.C. after 20 weeks will be marked up by a congressional committee tomorrow afternoon, and D.C. Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton is unhappy that it’s moving forward.
D.C. Director of Planning Harrier Tregoning and D.C. CFO Natwar Gandhi will speak on behalf of a proposal to raise height limits on D.C. buildings during a congressional hearing on Thursday.
Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton released the testimony she would have given had she been permitted to speak in a hearing on a GOP bill that would prohibit District women from having an abortion after 20 weeks.

Sulaimon Brown Agrees to Testify in Front of Council
Earlier today, we suggested that someone from the Council’s subpoena-serving office get down to Moultrie Courthouse, where Sulaimon Brown was to testify this afternoon. Turns out that wasn’t necessary: Brown voluntarily said he’d testify during the hearing, reports Mike DeBonis. He’ll appear June 6.
