The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Agency’s Board of Supervisors is reviewing this morning a $26 billion plan that would dramatically transform Metrorail over the next 30 years.
A report by researchers at George Mason University claiming that a vast majority of Washington area residents would still be commuting by car 30 years from now is based on faulty information, smart-growth advocates argue.
