At-large Councilmember and mayoral candidate Robert White challenged the validity of nearly 3,000 of Trayon White’s ballot signatures, which could have knocked him out of the running in June’s mayoral primary.

DCist/WAMU spoke to a number of residents of wards 7 & 8, including a couple of candidates, about what they’re thinking ahead of the mayoral election. A common thread: equality in allotment of resources throughout all of D.C.’s wards.
