Family Research Council shooting suspect Floyd Lee Corkins II will be arraigned this afternoon on charges of assault with intent to kill, and the FBI reports that he was found with 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches in his bag.
The complaints raised last week by a group of recent grand jury members that their five-week civic duties left them unfairly severed from the outside world did not take long to reach the attention of D.C.’s judiciary.
The thought of serving on a grand jury might bring visions of Sam Waterston pacing in front of you presenting damning evidence about suspected criminals. In reality, according to members of a recent panel, it can get infuriatingly boring.
