Local school officials say a problematic database and poor communication has made it difficult to track students’ immunization records.
There are clinics all over the city, ahead of vaccination compliance deadlines from D.C. Public Schools.
The bill also clarifies that a minor can seek a court order if their parent or legal guardian objects to their desire to get vaccinated.

Federal Judge Blocks D.C. From Allowing Minors To Get Vaccinated Without Parental Consent
A federal judge banned D.C. from enforcing a law that allowed minors 11 and older to get vaccines without parental consent.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus in D.C. and Maryland has also started to decline, according to health officials.
The vaccine mandate went into effect Saturday and requires people to show proof of vaccination to enter some establishments.
They are working to make vaccines available at schools, community vaccination sites, pop-up clinics, pharmacies, pediatrician offices, and other health care facilities.
