Rabbi Barry Freundel videotaped women in a ritual bath at the Kesher Israel synagogue.
“No matter how many times I attempt to apologize, it will not be enough,” writes Barry Freundel.
He would use his dog as cover as he filmed women.
He’s also under investigation for soliciting a minor in Fairfax.
The suit names Kesher Israel, the National Capital Mikvah, and Georgetown University.
“The alleged acts leading to this step were a gross violation of law, privacy, halakha, and trust.”
Meanwhile, one of his alleged victims has spoken out in an op-ed.
Allegations, not of a sexual manner, include inappropriate coercion of conversion candidates to perform clerical work.
He allegedly hid cameras in a place where people shower before taking a kind of spiritual bath.
