Late night infomercial annoyance and “famous for D.C.” resident Matthew Lesko has jumped feet first into the blogosphere. And yes, you have heard of this guy. Lesko is infamous for his snazzy question mark suits, his garishly painted car and for his “Get Free Money from the Government!” commercials that seem to air almost exclusively between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on local cable stations.

Lesko Blog went live a few days ago, and like a few other bloggers; it looks like Lesko has a personal score to settle. His beef is with the New York Consumer Protection Board, which issued a press release about government grant “scams” out there. Apparently, though Lesko was in no way accused of any wrong doing, he’s still plenty POed about his name being mentioned in the study. From Lesko Blog:

The board has admitted that I’ve done nothing wrong, and that they aren’t investigating me for anything. Yet they proceeded to make false and libelous statements about me…So with this blog, I can take matters into my own hands. Consider it my constantly evolving letter to the editor, as well as an expansion of what I do day in and day out…
