House Explodes. A family in District Heights says that repairmen had been out numerous times to attend to a persistent gas leak prior to the residence’s explosion on Monday. According to the Post, the neighborhood has seen quite a few gas leaks.
Since mid-February, the company has received 260 calls from people who smelled gas in the District Heights neighborhood, which resulted in 100 service orders … In contrast, the average number of calls in a neighborhood that size is about 85 ….
Happy Cousins: Two first cousins denied a marriage license in Pennsylvania were married in Maryland. In an article in part fused from wire services, the W.Times reports that “Twenty-six states and the District allow such weddings.” That’s another fun fact we were unaware of. And proponents of close-cousin marriage even have a website.
