FRIDAY:
>> If your faux pas have lately been spiraling out of control, head over tout suite to Politics & Prose. This evening at 7 p.m. Judith Martin, aka Miss Manners, will be talking about “Miss Manner’s Guide to Excruciatingly Exact Behavior,” her newly updated book about modern-day etiquette.

>> The Dulles Expo Center gets busy today with the weekend-long Sugarloaf Craft Festival. You can buy everything from well-engineered teddy bears to wood art. Check out other showcased artisans here, and directions are here. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., $7.

SATURDAY:
>> Tarara Winery in Loudoun County holds their annual Winds and Wine Celebration from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. There’ll be live music, sailboats, kite-flying demonstrations, kid’s stuff and, of course, lots and lots of glorious wine. $12; $8 for DDs and those under 21. >> The HFStival takes place today at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Tickets are still available for purchase here in case you feel like taking a jaunt to see Coldplay, Interpol, Garbage, and Foo Fighters amongst others. Local faves Washington Social Club are also playing the Street Stage at noon; our friends over at the Post Entertainment Guide point out that WSC, the Bravery and Louis XIV are playing a midnight show at Rams Head Live! 18+, and tickets are $10.57 at the door.

>> Bohemian Caverns on U Street is holding a mixed-arts event tonight, with musicians Laura Burhenn (we interviewed her a couple of weeks back) and The Monorail. The work of local artists Alicia K. Cosnahan and Evan Zimmerman will also be featured. Upstairs at Club 2001; $10; 10 p.m. – 3 a.m.

SUNDAY:
>> Today is the last day for both the Andre Kertesz and Andy Goldsworthy exhibits at the National Gallery; get out and see both! Sundays the museum is open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

>> The annual Taste of Arlington takes place from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. in front of the Ballston Common Mall. We’d suggest picking up some chili from Hard Times Cafe, heading over for goodies at Tallula‘s booth, and hitting up the Lebanese Taverna. See other participating restaurants here.
