WTOP is reporting that various streets around the U.S. Capitol have been closed down and some buildings evacuated in response to a suspicious vehicle thought to be carrying a bomb. Two men are being questioned in the incident. Our favorite snippet from the article, describing the driver of the suspicious car, who had stopped to asked for directions to a senator’s office:

According to this source, a passenger made some sort of joking comment that when he was in Mexico, authorities searched his car for a bomb. Out of an abundance of caution, police shut down the roads and ordered the evacuation.

We always knew that criminals aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed, but this guy is particularly dull.
