Thanks to all our readers who responded to Tuesday’s contest to win free passes to tonight’s screening of Match Point, Woody Allen’s newest film. The response was overwhelming, and we loved getting all of your e-mails. Unfortunately, we couldn’t respond to each of you to let you know that you didn’t win this time, and all winners have already been notified.

The good news is that we’re planning on doing more ticket giveaways for films in the future, so keep checking back in with DCist regularly. And we do mean regularly. We had our 25 winners within about 10 minutes of the post going live to the site, so those folks were either incredibly lucky or incredibly diligent about checking their RSS feeds. So if you want to win free stuff from DCist and still haven’t jumped on the whole RSS wagon, allow us to recommend some reading.

Also, in case you’re curious, the answer to our trivia question, Which actress was originally supposed to play Carol Lipton (Diane Keaton was eventually given the role) in 1993’s Manhattan Murder Mystery?, was Mia Farrow. An overwhelming majority of respondents had the right answer, though we were slightly amused by a few of you who didn’t know but thought begging might persuade us to throw you a bone. Next time, please keep in mind that DCist may be a lot things, but rule benders we are not. This isn’t ‘Nam, folks.
