Man Held in Rosenbaum Case: It appears that D.C. police have arrested and charged a man suspected in the attack on New York Times journalist David Rosenbaum, after video surveillance tapes caused the man to turn himself in. After determining that the attackers had been using Rosenbaum’s credit cards, D.C. police obtained surveillance video from the stores at which the transactions took place and then released video of potential suspects. According to NBC4, suspect Michael Hamlin then went to a District police station and asked why his face was on TV. He confessed to the crime shortly thereafter.

Burgundy and Gold Day: As the Redskins touched down yesterday in Seattle, Anthony Williams declared Friday Burgundy and Gold Day, urging the town to offer the team support as they prepare for their second round playoff game Saturday afternoon. We’d try that too, if we had as much riding on the game as Tony does. In other ‘Skins news, Clinton Portis did not dress up for his press conference this week, after receiving a letter from an adoring fan requesting he come out as himself.
