It’s time yet again for our weekly installment of Overheard in D.C. We’ve been at this for three months now, and we are grateful for all of the submissions and the positive feedback we’ve received on this feature. But at the risk of being repetitive, all of the kudos should go to the contributors who are our ears on the street. If it weren’t for all your e-mails, we couldn’t do this feature. Because, frankly, some of us don’t get out of the house very often.
We’d love to hear what you’ve heard. Send it to overheardindc (at) gmail (dot) com.
Quote of the Week
Shuttle tram from the amphitheater to the parking lot after the Easter sunrise service at Arlington National Cemetery:
Child (seeing all of the graves) to mom: “Is this where Jesus died?”
Mom: “No. I’ll tell you in the car.”
After the jump, the melodic music of Metro, the fine art of coaxing, and an English major at UVA.
