NBC 4 is reporting that shots have been fired at a Chantilly police station, and five people have sustained injuries, including four police officers. NBC 4 reports:

Fairfax County Supervisor Gerry Connolly said he heard that four police officials were shot by a sniper and that the sniper was shot and killed. Connolly could not confirm either of those reports.

Connolly also said that one of the victims, a female detective, was shot and killed. He could not confirm that report, either.

All Fairfax police stations and Westfield High School have been locked down. We’ll continue to follow this story.

Update: The Post is reporting that one police detective has been killed. There were two gunmen apparently, one of which was killed at the scene, and one of which remains on the loose.

Update II: NBC 4 live video is reporting that two officers are at Fairfax Inova Hospital in critical condition, and the hospital is being heavily guarded.

Update III: NBC 4 is now reporting that one police civilian and one police officer sustained minor injuries. Two officers were taken to the hospital, one with critical injuries, and one, the female police detective, who was dead on arrival at the hospital.
