>> Not too much going on this Tuesday, but the one-hit-wonder who can thank American Idol for his claim to fame, will be at 9:30 Club tonight with Holly Brook and Mozella. For $20 a ticket it might make more sense to just go buy Daniel Powter’s single “Bad Day” on iTunes and save yourself the other 19 bucks and a headache from the mob of screeching AI fans guaranteed to be in attendance.

WEDNESDAY
>> Three Stars Alum, Alec Gross & the Districts, bring whiskey rock out to DC9 on Wednesday where they’ll be playing songs off their recent release Win?orLose? with Seth Kallen and Justin Trawick. Keep an eye out for our review of the album later this week. $8.

>> Former Fuel front man Brett Scallion will be at Jammin’ Java with his new band, The X’s. But you won’t find him at the mic. Instead of “love bleeding in his hands,” Brett now holds the bass.

THURSDAY
>> Djs kathryn wildt and the holiday girl, otherwise known as My Favorite Dress, will be spinning pretty much whatever they want from 10pm-close at Saint-Ex. And what they want is a mix of pop, indie, jangle, dream, power, chamber, twee, french, and electro. There are rumors about dresses leading to drink specials.

>> The guys from Welbilt will be out at Clarendon Grill on Thursday.
