DC is not a city of sample sales and trunk shows, so when we have one fashion-related event worthy of attendance it is Very Exciting; when we have two it is a Big Deal. And three? Well, you lucky, things, let’s just say you’d better take advantage.
Tonight is the Third Thursday MidCity Shopper Social; shop the U Street Corridor and 14th Street for special deals at Junction. Wild Women Wear Red, and Pink November Boutique, among others.
On Friday (at 2pm) and Saturday (at 1pm) The Indian Craft Shop and the Interior Museum present “The American Indian Influence in Fashion;” not only does this include a fashion show and a meet-and-greet with the designers, but DC Style editor Christie Findlay will be emceeing the show and educatin’ on American Indian influence in current trends and designs.
If you prefer your fashion a little dirtier, head over to Rock and Roll Hotel for the American Apparel and BYT -sponsored Garutachi and American Psycho party.
