Even better, each piece is under $100 and 50% of the proceeds go to assist Latina survivors of domestic violence. Stop by La Casa Community Center at 3166 Mt Pleasant St NW (Columbia Heights metro) this Saturday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Silverthorne makes another appearance (you may have also seen her work at the recently opened City Hall art collection), along with Matt Achhammer and Robert Walton to welcome guests into their workspace, mingle and purchase art at a third the price.
