Completely unlike your great aunt Edna, DCist is here to shower you with gifts you will actually use and enjoy. We’ve teamed up once again with our friends at Landmark’s E Street Cinema to bring a free film screening to our readers. This time around it’s God Grew Tired of Us: The Story of Lost Boys of Sudan, a powerful new documentary by Christopher Dillon Quinn and co-director Tommy Walker, which chronicles the inspirational story of four Sudanese boys as they journey to America after years of wandering Sub-Saharan Africa in search of safety. Narrated by Nicole Kidman, this film has been the indie documentary film that could for the last year, earning some of the best word of mouth out there since even before it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

All you have to do is be one of the first 40 people to send an email with the answer to the following, stupidly easy trivia question to dcist.movies (at) gmail.com, and we’ll email you back with a pass good for two admissions to God Grew Tired of Us on Thursday, January 18 at 7:30 p.m..

Q: Which award did God Grew Tired of Us win at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival? (There are two correct answers, either one is fine).

Good luck! UPDATE: Only 8 passes left as of 11:17 a.m. Hurry, hurry. UPDATE: OK, all the passes are spoken for, thanks so much for entering! If you won you’ll be receiving confirmation via email shortly.
