The Washington Wizards did what they had to do last, beating the Indiana Pacers on the road 98-95. The win cemented the 7th seed in the East for the Wiz, setting up a rematch of last year’s exciting series with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs clinched the 2nd seed in the East by virtue of their win over Milwaukee and Chicago’s loss in New Jersey. Here’s how the series will shakedown, schedule-wise:
Game 1 – Sun April 22 Washington at Cleveland 12:30PM 12:30PM TNT
Game 2 – Wed April 25 Washington at Cleveland 8:00PM 8:00PM NBATV
Game 3 – Sat April 28 Cleveland at Washington 5:30PM 5:30PM TNT
Game 4 – Mon April 30 Cleveland at Washington TBD TBD TBD
Game 5 * Wed May 2 Washington at Cleveland TBD TBD TBD
Game 6 * Fri May 4 Cleveland at Washington TBD TBD TBD
Game 7 * Sun May 6 Washington at Cleveland TBD TBD TBD
Games 5, 6 and 7 have that little asterisk because they will only be played “if necessary.” So what do you say? Will the series run more than four games?
