>> The Bomb Shelter free comedy show continues tonight at 18th and Red in Adams Morgan. Ann Arbor’s Patrick Elkins and the High Islands will bring along some music and puppetry to the showcase, which will feature comedians John McBride, Bryson Turner, Brandon Ivey and Jermane Fowler. 9 p.m.
>> Jazz guitarist Wayne Wilkinson, a former member of the premier Air Force jazz ensemble, The Airmen of Note, comes to the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage for a free 6 p.m. show.
