Like the classic summer fling, Restaurant Week has officially left us, leaving us with a bittersweet mix of emotions. The lucky ones are gushing about that new restaurant they discovered and how they were wooed with an impossibly fantastic meal that didn’t drain their wallet.

Others weren’t so lucky. They began the week with a wide-eyed idealism, believing this meal was going to be the one, only to be left jaded and sometimes still-hungry after dining at restaurants that just didn’t feel the same way about Restaurant Week.

For those of you who believe in second chances, or want to relive the magic of last week, an impressive number of restaurants (DCFoodies has the count at 21) are keeping the menu on from anywhere to one week to an entire month. DCFoodies’ Jason Storch has put a great deal of legwork into compiling a list of who’s offering an extended Restaurant Week menu as well as restaurants’ limitations contained in their RW deals. Rather than steal his thunder and reprint the whole thing here, allow us to point you in his direction.
