>> Sigh. It’s the last night of Fort Reno, which means summer is officially ending soon. Hopefully it’ll dry out in time to make this a great final concert — scheduled to play are drag-rocker Edie Sedgwick, Sentai, and the adorable Eyeball Skeleton, a Maryland band featuring brothers age 8 and 10 (plus their dad) who are known to sing the lyric “eyeball skeleton” over and over again in what sound almost like fake British accents. 7:15 p.m., as usual. Call 703-318-2197 to make sure it’s still on before heading over.

>> Consider a double-feature of two of the greatest teen flicks of all time: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at 7 p.m. and Pretty in Pink at 9:10. At the AFI Silver Theater, part of the “Totally Awesome: Films of the 1980s” series which ends Sept. 6.

>> Trumpeter Terence Blanchard begins a four night stand at Blues Alley tonight in support of his latest release on the Blue Note label, A Tale of God’s Will (A Requiem for Katrina). Check out our critic’s review of the album and head down tonight through Sunday for daily 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. sets. Tickets are available here for $27.50 + $10 food/drink minimum.

>> If you’re still scrambling for Neko Case tickets for tonight at 9:30 Club, Craigslist seems to have a few.
