The Eagle – American:
>> At American University, officials decided that an official record will be kept along with possible judicial action after students receive their “second medical transport due to alcohol consumption.” So remember kids, the first case of alcohol poisoning is free.

>> There was an attempted robbery in an American University dorm last Saturday, but the suspect was quickly apprehended and identified.

The Hoya – Georgetown:
>> Georgetown too has news about a change in alcohol policy for students, but this one was softened. Only one resident, as opposed to two, now need to be over 21 while hosting a party in a university apartment or townhouse. Last night students rallied in protest to demand even more lax drinking policies, including amnesty for all Category A alcohol violations issued so far this academic year and relaxed party registration rules.

>> The Vatican is accusing a Georgetown professor of writing a book that violates Roman Catholic doctrine.

The Diamondback – Maryland:
>> College Park and Maryland Campus Police are still looking for those responsible in an armed carjacking that occurred on Maryland’s campus on Tuesday night outside one of the dorms. The suspects were driving a green Ford Escort with D.C. tags, and they took a 2007 black Toyota Yaris.

>> There are also plans to develop the mysterious “East Campus,” which officials say will rival downtown Silver Spring.
