>> The Black Cat’s backstage is going to be pumping out the punk noise tonight as Antelope stops by, with Thank You and The Andalusians. $8, 9 p.m.

>> DC Scores, a local nonprofit that provides innovative after-school programming to Washington kids, is hosting its 10th Annual Poetry Slam tonight. The event will feature 300 of the District’s public elementary and middle school students competing for the coveted Golden Mic trophy — obviously it won’t be good, but it’s sure to be adorable. At Gallaudet University’s Elstad Auditorium, 5 to 7 p.m., free.

>> GW’s men play #1 UCLA tonight at 10:30 p.m in Los Angeles. The game will be on Fox College Sports so plenty of bars around the area will have it on, including the terrifying ESPN Zone downtown. Will Karl Hobbs’ team rebound from their loss to UMBC to topple the Bruins? Probably not, but it should be interesting. (Editor’s note: GO BRUINS!)

>> If you haven’t tried out Drunken Jenga night at Rock and Roll Hotel — which is exactly what it says it is — we’d recommend heading down to H Street to give it a whirl tonight. Hint: Jenga becomes more difficult the drunker you get. Includes a free DJ set of dance-punk and indie pop. No cover, 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.
