Last week we told you about Nationals’ Presidents Race tryouts, and it looks like quite a few intrepid bloggers went down to RFK Stadium to don giant president heads and try their racing abilities. Both Christmas Ape from Deadspin and Bruce from 567 Miles from Home blogged about the experience, and it sounds like a pretty funny one. There were also some mainstream reporters from the Times and WTOP.

The Times says that the 30 folks who showed up were culled from the 120 or so applicants, and 15 to 20 will be hired. The prospective presidents tried on the 11-12 feet tall suits and raced down the first base line. The video above, which many of you have likely already seen, shows one poor Thomas Jefferson who fell flat on his face. Looks like he needed to lean back. Posture, Tom! What did Mama Jefferson teach you?
