The Metropolitan Police Department sent around a flyer today with this photo of Felipe Antonio Caceres, asking the community for their help in locating him. Caceres is the father of 12-year-old Marisol Caceres, who was found dead earlier this week in at apartment at 60 Hawaii Avenue NE. The flyer emphasizes that Caceres is missing, that he is wanted for questioning only [emphasis theirs], and that he “should be approached with caution as he may be distraught over his daughter’s death.”
Caceres is described as a 45-year-old Hispanic male, 5’8” tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and mustache and a slight goatee. He was last seen wearing navy blue work-type pants, a brown and white striped polo shirt, and black Nike boots. He was carrying a black backpack with mechanic tools. He has a scar on his right arm.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Caceres is asked to contact Detective Carlos Hilliard on (202) 438-8844, Detective Ralph Durant on (202) 497-1313, or the Command Information Center (CIC) at (202) 727-9099.
