Vincent Orange, fighting Kwame Brown for Gray’s seat, went with a smaller Cadillac SUV than his competitor. What, he couldn’t afford an orange paint job?

Despite the angry messages about cancelled flights my friends are posting on Twitter and Google Chat, all three major local airports say they are open for arriving and departing flights.

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says that both Reagan National and Dulles International are open today, though “some airlines may experience long lines at the ticket counters while they work to rebook passengers whose flights were cancelled over the weekend.”

You can access Reagan once again via Metro, since all Metro stops have re-opened. Dulles has three runways now open, and you can get there by the Washington Flyer Coach and Metrobus service. BWI is also open. Airports are encouraging people to check whether their flights have been cancelled before heading to the airport.

Has anyone attempted to fly out of D.C. today? What has your experience been like?
