Friend of DCist Matt Yglesias tweets that the New York Times’ incredibly cool Netflix popularity maps are a “fascinating window into DC area’s socioeconomic divides.” And how! Personally, we’re just bummed that the excellent Man on Wire was strictly a Northwest D.C./Bethesda affair (it’s really good, people). Oh, and those of you who live in zip code 22211: really, My Best Friend’s Girl is not the answer. In the end, at least we’re not Minneapolis, the residents of which can no longer hide from their guilty, yet near-universal affinity for Renee Zellweger’s brand of snoozy rom-coms.
