Potholes! They are popping up everywhere. Tons of snow, ice and water on the roads combined with fluctuating temperatures = pothole heaven.

Hopefully you manage to spot the suckers before driving through them and damaging your vehicle, but either way, here’s how to report them:

D.C.: DDOT is responsible for filling potholes inside the District. To file a pothole report, you can either call the Mayor’s Citywide Call Center at 311, send a tweet to @DDOTDC, or fill out an online request.

Arlington County: Call (703) 228-6570, or fill out this online form.

Alexandria: Call (703) 838-4488, or fill out this email form.

Montgomery County: Call (240) 777-6000, or fill out the online form.

Prince George’s County: Call (301) 499-8520, or fill out the online form.

State Roads: For numbered routes maintained by states, contact either the Virginia Department of Transportation at (703) 383-8368 or via online form, or the Maryland State Highway Administration by submitting a service request here, or calling (800) 543-2515.
