Overheard of the Week

In a suburban Md. office:

Woman: “It’s not even Earth Day anymore, it’s like Earth Week. When i was in high school, all we did was go to a festival, to just listen to music and buy jewelry.”
Man: (with a chuckle) “Yeah, I feel like that’s what the whole day was originally intended to be for.”
Woman: “Yeah now they’re all crazy with the saving-the-Earth crap.”
