It’s been three amazing years since I became the first full-time editor of DCist, so it’s with a truly bittersweet mix of sadness and excitement that I announce that I will soon be moving on. I’ve accepted a new position at Allbritton Communications’ TBD.com, and will be leaving in mid-June to start work there.

In the meantime, I’ll still be here at the helm of DCist, so I’ll save the sappy goodbye stuff until then. Keep an eye out for a job listing from Gothamist shortly, which will provide all the details for anyone who might be interested in applying to be the next editor of DCist. This is hands down the greatest job I have ever had, and I’m positive whoever takes the reins after me will love it just as much as I have.
