There are few details, but the Red Line’s Union Station was briefly closed because of an apparent shooting. We’ll update when more information becomes available.

Metro reports that train service has returned to normal on the Red Line.
Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein tells The Post that “police were trying to ‘retrieve a weapon off the tracks.’ She said she did not know whether anyone was shot or what kind of weapon it was.”
WeLoveDC’s Dave Stroup tweets from Union Station. He’s hearing there may have been fight involving 15-20 people that started at Fort Totten and ended at Union Station.
News Channel 8 reports there was not a shooting inside the station, “just threats about a shooting.”
