From the looks of our Twitter feed, TicketFly, the online ticketing website for this year’s Virgin FreeFest, was having some difficulties this morning for the event’s password-protected internet presale. Not that it mattered: despite the technical snafus, the pre-sale allocation of free tickets sold out in about ten minutes. This DCist editor tried grabbing his own tickets a few minutes ago, and got the dreaded “There are no tickets available that meet your request. Please select a different quantity or choose another price range.” message. (Damn.) Those of you who are like me and didn’t get in on the pre-sale can always try again tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., when the general sale begins. Of course, seated tickets are still available — but who wants those?
