>> Good luck to all of the Marine Corps marathon runners, who are already well under way in their 26.2 mile run. Here’s a reminder of all of the road closures you’ll have to contend with because of the race.
>> How many people were at that rally anyway? Estimates seem to vary between 150,000 and 200,000 – perhaps more. We do know by 2 pm, Metro ridership had reached 330,000 people. But anyone who was in that area yesterday can tell you: the numbers don’t really matter because being anywhere near the Mall yesterday was insane. So many people didn’t even make it to the rally but rather elected to watch it at a bar. Stay tuned for more DCist rally coverage later today.
>> There was a shooting over night on the 1200 block of Blandensburg Road NE. No word on the condition of the victim.
>> Angel Morse, the Brightwood 13-year-old gun shot victim, has died. The suspect, 39-year-old Robert Carter of Northwest, is being held in PG County as a fugitive.
