The theme of the mailing? “Expect It.” Which, of course, leaves us wondering what the elusive “it” really is. Expect another season of under-.500 ball? Expect another year where the team leads the majors in errors? Expect more record-low late season attendances? Expect another year where Ryan Zimmerman gets jobbed out of an All-Star appearance? Expect another crushing injury to a promising young pitcher? You’re going to need to be a lot more specific here, Nationals front office.
