Montgomery County police announced this afternoon that they have arrested 49-year-old Suburban Hospital employee Keith D. Little for the murder of Roosevelt Brockington Jr. inside the hospital on New Year’s Day. According to a report by WUSA9 this afternoon, police say that Little stabbed Brockington “over 70 times” in the boiler room of the hospital on the morning of January 1. Little has been charged with first-degree murder.
Brockington was also reportedly Little’s supervisor at Suburban; police are claiming that Brockington had recently given Little a poor performance review, and had infomed him that he was not going to get a raise.
Police responded en masse to the hospital last night after another employee witnessed Little entering the building while carrying a bucket — inside that bucket was a black ski mask and gloves, which Little, a resident of Lanham, Md., apparently attempted to dump in the boiler room of the hospital where the murder took place.
Brockington, who had been employed at Suburban for four-and-a-half years as an engineer, was also a deacon at St. John’s Church in Northeast D.C.
