Last night, two were shot in separate incidents in different parts of the city. A man was shot at 1st and P Streets NW at 3 a.m. in an apparent robbery attempt. The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital and has described the suspect as a black male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, wearing a brown jacket. Across the city, a teenager, approximately 15-years-old, was shot in the 3500 block of Stanton Road SE. The shooting occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. Friday night. The victim is in serious condition, and as of now the police are unsure of any motive in the shooting.

In Suitland, MD a man was shot and killed 3:30 a.m. Saturday outside of the Plaza 23 Club. The police are investigating the murder but have no leads as of yet. This marks the 16th homicide in Prince George’s County in 2011.
