The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey touring circus finds its way back to the Verizon Center on Thursday (this year’s theme: Barnum’s Funundrum), so it’s once again time for the annual Elephant Walk. The pachyderm march through the streets of the District will begin this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. — to make sure you get a chance to gawk at the trunked ones, you can call 1-866-683-3670 or follow @DCElephantWalk on Twitter. Here’s the route for this year’s march, which will start at Garfield Park, wind its way up 3rd Street NW, and finish at the Verizon Center.
