Tough news for those of you who were hoping to do a little bit of gambling while you wandered outside to pick up a truck lunch this afternoon: the D.C. Lottery’s Lucky Lottery Mobile, slated to have its first run at Farragut Square today, has some “technical difficulties” and won’t be appearing as scheduled. The truck will now make its debut at Truckaroo, the monthly food truck festival that takes place inside the Bullpen by Nationals Park, on Friday.

So what’s the deal? Michael Neibauer reports that the truck is apparently far too large to fit in Farragut Square. So much for mobility, eh?
