Some people just never learn. Like the outspoken Bishop Harry Jackson — who, according to Bruce DePuyt, stands “poised to fight” Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley in 2012 over same sex marriage.

I assume that means Jackson will be up to his usual tricks — basically, trying over and over and over to derail O’Malley’s plans to enact a law allowing same-sex marriage, comparing the preservation of traditional marriage to the civil rights movement, and, of course, failing spectacularly in the process.

On the bright side: at least Jackson, who owns property in the state, won’t have to put on another residency charade for this latest crusade. Frankly, I’m not sure we’ve got the patience to cover another round of that nonsense.
