(Not that we would ever condone such behavior, just like we wouldn’t condone bringing a baby red panda over to our headquarters for some fun. Nope, definitely not.) But for those of you who are pretty sure you can contain yourself in the face of the almighty squee, the National Zoo is opening its doors to you.
The Snore and Roar program provides an opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Zoo, staying overnight and experiencing a two-hour tour. (Plus: booze and a continental breakfast! Maybe bamboo!) Here’s the deal: you need to be a Friend of the National Zoo, be at least 21 and have $125 to spend. We missed out on the cheetahs and the Asia Trail (sorry, red panda lovers) — but for the giant panda-obsessed, September 24 is your date.
Of course, if you were planning on pulling a heist of some baby animals, this could be your best chance. You know, if, uh, we supported such shenanigans, that is.
