You guys remember when there were those rumors about Donald Trump looking to purchase the Old Post Office and turning it into a hotel? You know, it was right before President Obama released his birth certificate and cut Trump down to size at the Correspondent’s Dinner. Yeah, those were good times.

What’s that? Trump is still interested in buying the building? And he’d like to turn the space into an “ultra-luxury” property with his daughter Ivanka at the helm of the bid?

Well, I guess if you’ve got no chance at ever living in the White House, a couple blocks down Pennsylvania Avenue isn’t a bad backup plan.
