The people responsible for putting together the 2012 edition of the Farmers’ Almanac have apparently dubbed us a bunch of “weather wimps.” Normally, we’d get all hot and bothered about this, but the numbers appear to show we’re a bit on the whiny side.

According to the brains over at the Capital Weather Gang, who rank the overall weather on a 0-10 scale every single day, we’ve experienced 138 really nice days (those ranked 8-10) as opposed to only 43 miserable ones (those ranked 0-2) since December 16, 2009.

Of course, we are talking about daily rankings by a group of weather bloggers and a publication that claims it can accurately predict a year in advance when a hurricane will hit based on a “top secret mathematical and astronomical formula, that relies on sunspot activity, tidal action, planetary position and many other factors.” So, you know, whatever.
