Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley last month ordered the state legislature to convene a special session to deliberate a bill that would greatly expand casino gambling, including the introduction of table games and the construction of a sixth casino at National Harbor.

Today, O’Malley’s office released the particulars of what Maryland lawmakers will be discussing tomorrow. Besides the table games and National Harbor casino, O’Malley’s bill would also cut the taxes paid by casino operators in Anne Arundel County and make plans for a casino in downtown Baltimore, WAMU reports.

But mostly, O’Malley just wants to be done with the issue:

O’Malley says he’s “tired” of the issue of gaming expansion, and hopes lawmakers put aside their differences and pass legislation in the next few days.

“This is not so much about what we want, but what we need to get behind us,” says O’Malley. “We can create jobs, we can maximize dollars that come from this. Gaming has been approved by every single jurisdiction by the voters a few years ago.”
