A few construction projects worth watching out for are kicking off this week.

First, WJLA notes that today the National Park Service kicked off a two-month-long rehabilitation of parts of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. During the construction, at least one eastbound lane will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a westbound lane from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; those closures will last from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekends.

Second, this week the D.C. Department of Transportation will start streetscape work on New Hampshire Avenue from Washington Circle to Dupont Circle. During the 18-month-long project, the stretch of New Hampshire Avenue from H Street to M Street NW will be resurfaced, while the stretch from M Street to Dupont Circle will be completely rebuilt. Greater Greater Washington has more details on the project, which will also include the addition of bike lanes and changes to Washington Circle.

Streetscape work has also started on U Street between Ninth and 14th Streets NW, which is set to wrap up next spring.
